Record the printer brand, full model number, and exact message or error code. Note whether it connects by USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or a print server, and which devices can or cannot print. If the printer can produce an internal configuration or test page from its control panel, have it ready; this helps separate hardware and ink problems from driver or network issues. Keep a sample showing streaks, fading, wrong colors, or alignment defects. Note recent cartridge, router, computer, or driver changes. Have the power cable and USB cable ready if used, then contact us to arrange service. When a job is frozen, stop resending it: repeated copies can remain in the queue and all print later. Preserve the first error instead.
